The Model 6138 features both hydraulic gripping and dumping capabilities.  The rubber-lined general purpose jaws are designed to handle both steel drums and other rigid cylinders from 13" to 24" in diameter.  This drum grip requires a lift truck equipped with an auxiliary valve control and hydraulic quick couplers.

Power on the Model 6138 is controlled by the auxiliary valve control on the lift truck.  Driver pulls a cord to divert power from the tilting to the clamping mode.  Drums can be released in a horizontal position to facilitate horizontal stacking.  Driver pulls rope to change to clamping mode after drum has been tilted to 90 deg.
