Gravity-Actuated Mechanical Drum Grip with Rubber-Lined Jaws

  • Turnbuckle mechanism for adjusting jaws

  • Drive-in fork tubes

  • Safety chain secures grip to mast

  • Spring-and-cam actuated jaws grip automatically as pressure against the drum forces them down. The weight of the drum maintains a constant grip until it is set down.

A heavy-duty gravity-actuated mechanical drum grip, Auto-Grip actually works faster than hydraulic models if all drums to be moved are the same size.  However, the spring-and-cam actuated rubber-lined jaws can be adjusted to fit 30, 55, or 85 gallon overpack drums, or any cylindrical object between 18" and 28" in diameter.
